Bio

Dr. Nico Buttazzoni 

Dr. Nico was born and raised in Hinton, Alberta, before leaving home to study kinesiology for four years at the University of Alberta Augustana campus. He was the Men’s Hockey team trainer for two and a half years before graduating. After completing his bachelor’s in kinesiology, he moved to San Jose, California, to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West and obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After four more years of schooling, he graduated with honours and moved to Calgary to start practicing for 2.5 years before moving to Sherwood Park to practice. In his time practicing in Calgary, he has volunteered to provide treatment to athletes at lacrosse tournaments and the junior A Hinton Timberwolves Hockey team while they were on the road.

From a young age, Dr. Nico’s passion for chiropractic care was ignited by his experiences with sports injuries and desire for wellness care. Today, he is committed to understanding the root of your problem through a comprehensive history and examination, crafting a unique treatment plan for each patient. His extensive range of techniques, including diversified adjusting technique, soft tissue techniques, rehabilitative exercises, and patient education, are all geared towards one primary goal-to alleviate your pain and prevent future injuries through education and exercises.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Nico loves spending time with friends and family and leads an active lifestyle. Some of his favourite activities include hockey, hiking, running, and weight lifting.
